Welcome to TruePeer, operated by Alveus Technology. By using our platform, you agree to the following Terms and Conditions. Please read them carefully before using our services.
By registering, accessing, or using TruePeer, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to these Terms and Conditions. If you disagree, discontinue use immediately.
TruePeer offers users access to: buying and selling cryptocurrency, converting crypto to Naira and vice versa, secure wallet storage, sending and receiving crypto, in-store purchases, buying airtime/gift cards, saving in crypto, and in-app customer support chat.
Users must register with accurate information and complete KYC verification to access full services. You agree to keep your information up to date at all times.
Verification may require you to provide government-issued identity information (such as your BVN or NIN), photograph an identity document, or complete a live selfie check. These checks are performed with licensed identity-verification providers, and by starting a verification you consent to that processing as described in our Privacy Policy. Providing false or borrowed identity information is a breach of these Terms and may lead to account termination and reporting to the relevant authorities.
Transaction fees, when applicable, will be displayed transparently within the app prior to completion. TruePeer reserves the right to modify fees with prior notice.
Cryptocurrencies are volatile and may lose value. TruePeer does not guarantee profits or protection against market losses.
Transactions must comply with Nigerian laws and platform rules. TruePeer may set limits on transaction amounts, frequency, or balances. Transactions are final once confirmed on the blockchain.
TruePeer provides an in-app support chat where our team can help you with your account. By using it you understand and agree that:
We also send service notifications (such as transaction alerts, security alerts, and support replies) by push notification, browser notification, in-app alert, or email. You can manage notification preferences in your device or browser settings; essential security and service notices may still be delivered.
Users must not engage in illegal, fraudulent, or unethical activities including money laundering, terrorist financing, or unauthorized account access.
TruePeer and Alveus Technology shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including loss of funds due to user error, third-party service failure, or market conditions.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate any account that violates these terms, engages in suspicious activities, or poses a security risk.
TruePeer may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the platform after such updates constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. Disputes will be resolved in accordance with Nigerian legal procedures.
